The Market Study & Economic Development Strategy is the town’s first comprehensive study of the market and economics. It also serves as the "economic engine" of the Herndon 2050 plan.

The strategy will explore ways to grow the Town’s commercial tax base, enhance key commercial areas, support existing businesses, attract new ones, and identify real estate opportunities and partnerships that can help spur long-term economic growth.
